Volver

Check out Almodavar's filmography on imbd. I've seen about a third of these, all of them good. Volver, the most recent one, continues the pattern. I'm going to assume that all Almordovar films are beautifully shot stories about strange occurrences, family histories, and unique characters. In Volver, Penélope Cruz plays a mother with a few problems. I won't spoil it for you, but the problems may or may not include an out-of-work husband, a dead body, and visitors from another world.
